Last time, Battle of the Fireworks-Due to scheduling conflicts related to his role in Clarence, Tom Kenny decided not to reprise his role as SpongeBob. Instead, the film’s director, Joel Schumacher, cast George Cloe. Ney is SpongeBob instead. This replacement led to a massive rewriting of the storyline. After the rewrites, most of the SpongeBob cast was replaced by Batman and Robin’s cast members.
