It follows Rachel Lee, the accused mastermind of The Bling Ring heist, who speaks about her experiences for the first time. Journalists Amy Kaufman and Al District Attorney Len Salkin, Kristin Kee and Sarika Kim, victims Aden Chizzle and Lee’s father David Lee appear in the film.
