The story is about a group of citizen journalists in Raqqa, Syria called Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS). It was formed after the arrival of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) during the People resisted the Al-Assad family’s long-standing dictatorship, and later ISIS captured Raqqah and made it its capital, and ISIS took control of everything in the city and its people. Whoever resists will be punished. It’s too heavy to the point of execution, so the RBSS has decided to reveal the truth that happened in this city to everyone.The film’s early story opens with RBSS accepting the award for best independent news agency in New York in 2015, and tells the story of the once peaceful city of Raqqa. But after ISIS took over the city, it became a ghost town with no life anymore. The film alternates with footage of mass executions of opposing or beheadings in the middle of the central square. The RBSS’s exposure of these images to the world made ISIS so dissatisfied that many of its members had to flee the country. Some of them are in Turkish border towns bordering Syria. Others fled to Germany. But there are still some in Raqqah to take pictures and spread the news about the city.

The cruelty isn’t just these people being hunted by ISIS and dying when they don’t know. Rather, it is to see the city and their beloved family executed by ISIS for exposing the brutal reality at the hands of the ISIS itself. But in fear, the RBSS still believes the pen. is more powerful than any weapon This belief resulted in no one in the group giving up, giving up, and refraining from spreading the evil that had happened in his beloved homeland.
